Lunch in Sayalonga

After a busy morning, Lars and I had become hungry and went to look for a restaurant in Sayalonga, which is located even more to the east of Malaga, about 38 kilometres.

Luckily, we found a restaurant very quickly: Meson Morisco.

We were off to a good start, with free tapas accompanying our drinks.

Although the restaurant specializes in meat dishes, I chose the grilled swordfish. Lars, on the other hand, went for grilled lamb chops. Both dishes were delicious and quite cheap.

A dog showed interest in our food as well…

All in all, Lars and I were very pleased with this restaurant:

Mesón Morisco
Plaza Don Rafael Alcoba, 29752 Sayalonga, Málaga

By the way, we forgot to tip the waitress… Shame on us, because she was very friendly and delivered good service.

By the way, Lars and I briefly considered Sayalonga to be our new home in Spain.

And although it was pretty and cosy, we considered it to be a bit too small. Moreover, there was a lack of supermarkets and the only bank in the village had an ATM which was already broken for weeks. Nobody seemed to know when it was going to be repaired and we considered this to be a huge drawback.
