An Afternoon in Frigiliana and Maro

71 kilometres to the east of Malaga and 6 kilometres to the north of Nerja, lies Frigiliana, which is considered to be one of the most beautiful villages in the province of Malaga. It boasts a Moorish quarter and a 16th-century Renaissance palace. Our expectations – as you can imagine – were quite high.

Unfortunately, Lars and I found it as good as impossible to get rid of the car. So there was only enough time for a couple of snaps.

This is the view of the coast and the mountains.

Better luck another time?

We continued our excursion towards Maro, a charming village just outside of Nerja. Again, Lars preferred to stay in the car, so I only had a limited time taking pictures.

The church was closed, unfortunately…

Of course, we still have enough time, especially to revisit Frigiliana!

The house came fully furnished, so we only had to move our personal belongings, which was done by a moving company. We ourselves took a plane.
