Our Last Spring in Brussels – Part 1

There are two reasons why it has been so quiet on this blog. I have been in hospital for more than a month and we are preparing to move… Guess what: we are not only leaving Brussels, but Belgium as well. It is a decision that Lars and I have been considering for quite some time now; actually I have been dreaming about living abroad for more than 20 years! We still have a lot to prepare, but we are both excited and thrilled about this big adventure. In the coming weeks we will reveal what our new homecountry will be. So yes, this is our last spring in Brussels…

Talking about spring, it came two weeks later than last year. We were relieved when we saw the first signs, after a cold and sometimes gloomy February and March.

We took these pictures in Kruidtuin/Jardin Botanique, Brussels. I am going to miss this place.

Ducks and turtles living together in peace and harmony!

Lars and I went to the Brussels Park (also known as the Royal Park) as well, this time opting for black and white pictures.

In the next part, we will feature a park that we visited for the first time last year and that ended up on our Instagram account, but not on the website.
