Photo Essay – Gloomy Brussels Winter

Until a couple of days ago, winter here was sombre and wet… We did have mild temperatures though.

I took these pictures at the end of January in the Royal Park. As you can see there were hardly any other people around, except for a handful of diehard joggers.

The second gallery of pictures concerns the area around the Congress Column, right in our neighbourhood. It was so windy that day that Lars and I quickly returned home. In the meantime, temperatures have dropped and we have seen the sun again.

At the moment we don’t do any trips since I need to be hospitalized. Spring will be better.
