These pictures are from Bois de la Cambre/Ter Kamerenbos, an urban Brussels park measuring 1.23 square kilometres.

It has a lake with a small island, called Robinson’s Island.

The chalet on the island is called Robinson’s Chalet. The original one dates from 1877 but was destroyed by a fire in 1991. This one was built in 2006 and opened in 2009.

The chalet has a restaurant on the ground floor and a ballroom on the first.
